Youtube Revenue

March 2nd, 2007

The number is a little obfuscated but you can get at it but substracting the pro-forma accounts in the acquisition notes with Google’s actual revenue.

In 2005, Youtube earned the grand total of $15,000 in revenue. In 2006, revenue was $12.9m.

Interestingly, Youtube’s revenue was over three times less than Facebook had in 2006.
